Undying Fascination on Classic Filipino Movies

I miss blogging...
I really do...Glad I've got the time now for me add up a new entry.
I've got the time just because I'm sick and confined in bed... resting...
Back to my topic, my interest in classic Filipino movies started when I was in elementary. I was sick then confined in bed just like today. I got bored over watching cartoons and noon time shows.
I tuned in to channel 9 that was around 1:00pm. Classic movies of 1950's to 1960's were shown. I was able to watch Gloria Romero's classic film Honey-Haneymunan (I'm not sure of the title). She co starred with her real life husband Juancho Gutierrez.
It's a story about a newly wed couple. Who were just starting out to raise a family. It's a comedy film. The comedic (if there's such a word) tandem of Dolphy and Panchito added a light touch of comedy in the story.
Juancho Gutierrez and Ric Rodrigo were my favorite classic filipino actors. I like their soulful eyes...and their deep romantic voice.
You can feel the emotions of each line in the movie. It sounds so romantic.
Sometimes I wish I could go back in time. I wanted to experience how it is to live in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s
Life then seems so simple..less complicated...and not fast paced like today.
It seems so relaxing...
Fast forward to the 1980's...
My favorite actors at that time were Albert Anido - I love his chinky eyes and moreno looks ^_^, Albert Martinez - I love his sweet - seductive smile, Benedict Aquino - love the boy next door looks, Aga Muchlach and Rowell Santiago.
