Twilight Series

The story of Bella and Edward kinda grows in me. After watching the movie, I googled the Twilight Series. Luckily I found ebooks.

This will defintely keep me busy this holiday season.

The movie version of Twilight is ok. But I still prefer reading the story. Mas gusto ko yung naiimagine ko yung mga nababasa ko. Saka mas feel ko yung emotions ng characters sa story.

Twilight

TWILIGHTWe watched the Red carpet premiere of Twilight at SM Mall of Asia and encountered minor obstacles along the way. Our mode of transportation broke down and we were forced to ride a cab instead. Luckily, when we arrived at the venue the movie hasn’t started yet. We saw a lot of GMA 7 artists at the lobby area. The movie Twilight is a highly recommended chick flick. The story revolves around two star crossed lovers. A modern day Romeo and Juliet story. You may read the synopsis hereI like the confession part where Edward told Bella "Your scent is like a drug. You are exactly my brand of heroin." "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb..." he murmured. I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word."What a stupid lamb," I sighed."What a sick, masochistic lion." "For almost ninety years I've walked among my kind, and yours ... all the time thinking I was complete in myself, not realizing what I was seeking. And not finding anything, because you weren't alive yet."I like Edward’s character – beautiful, mysterious and dangerous. I’ll never get tired of watching this movie

JUST GOT LUCKY

I got up this morning and tuned in to my fave station. Before I went to sleep I set my alarm to wake up at around 230am but due to exhaustion and lack of sleep these past few days, I didn’t get up at that time. Kristine’s text message was the one who woke me up. She reminded me to tune in to our fave DJs program and wait for the contest.

We joined yesterday’s contest but were not so lucky. So we tried our luck again today.

I remember how frustrated I was when I texted the right answers but it just happened that I wasn’t the first texter. But this frustration didn’t stop me from joining contests from their other radio programs. I still joined B.N.O. contest for the free Rhianna and Chris Brown concert tickets. The theme was “THINK CLEAN NOT GREEN”.

I analyzed the four clues they gave: pink is my color/my juice makes you PUCKER/very moist/split down the middle. I thought of answering “SUHA” but before sending in my answer I still looked up the English term for suha (baka kasi di nila tanggapin yung tagalog answer) I sent in my answer and I was happy that I got the right answer but unfortunately I wasn’t the first texter again.

So this time around, I kept a draft of my text message for the contest so that I would just key in the answer and send it right away.

This morning I texted in my first answer for the commercial game and that was TANDUAY. I kept on recalling the line in my head. Finally the DJ said nobody got the right answer. So I sent another answer – BARCELONA BRANDY while he’s still giving out the line for the commercial contest.

I was so happy to get an immediate auto reply. And when the time came for the winner to be announced, “I kept saying please let me win this game please please please…”

I was so overwhelmed when he mentioned my name. I was like “is this for real?”

My hardwork has paid off hehehe (I tried to recall every single commercial they played on the radio. I even jotted down list of sponsors for the said concert just in case)

We plan to get the tickets sometime tomorrow.

M.R.S. (MOST REQUESTED SONG)

Over the years I’ve been collecting a lot of mp3 songs. I rely on MTV and Myx for the latest songs and search for it.

Back in the day when we still don’t have internet, I record all my fave songs on the radio. Now I just download it from the internet.

But even if I have it on my computer, I still request for it on the radio.

Why? Because it feels different if you hear your requested song over the radio rather than just hearing it from your MP3 player or your PC.

What makes it special?

You get to hear your fave song on the radio and most of all you get to hear your fave DJ mention your name.

It gives out a warm feeling.

Just like that… it brightens up your day.

But there are days that you don’t get to hear your requested song because its not available or your request came in too late.

You feel frustrated and sad…

But hey, it’s just today that you didn’t hear your requested song. Tomorrow is another day… Another request
